MAJURO | JULY 1 A small private boat carrying more than 10 passengers, most of them children, capsized around noon today near the Majuro Bridge entrance while returning from Arno Atoll.

According to initial reports, there were no fatalities. Chikin Melele has obtained exclusive photos from the scene. Maritime enforcement officers, together with bystanders who witnessed the boat overturn, responded quickly to rescue those on board. All passengers were transported to Majuro Hospital’s Emergency Room for medical evaluation and care.
